About MSL

Mineral Services Limited (MSL) is a wholly owned Ugandan company offering support services to Petroleum exploration and production projects in Uganda.

MSL  has offered Integrated Oilfield Services to the Uganda Oil and Gas industry since 1998.

MSL is ISO certified to provide services to the industry which cover the areas of Turnkey Accommodation, Base  Management, Human Resource Management, Supply Chain Management, Transport, and fleet Management, Seismic and drilling Support, Equipment Hire, Handling, and  Maintenance.

OUR EXPERIENCE

Turnkey Accomodation Services

  • 2012 to date: MSL provides TotalEnergies Uganda with Turnkey Accommodation and Catering Services in Tangi and Bugungu.

  • Managing project teams of up to 400 staff, MSL has catered for up to a total of 1200 resident clients and 650 non-residents; and served over 93,000 meals per month.

  • 2008: Supported Dominion during seismic surveys in Kihihi andBushenyi

  • 2007 - 2008: Supported Neptune/Tower Resources in Obongi

  • 2007: Supported Tullow Oil during seismic surveys in Butiaba

  • 2005 - 2008: Supported Heritage Oil & Gas in Murchison (Amuru), Bugoma and Waraga 11

  • 2003 - 2005: Supported Hardman Resources in Lake Albert in the areas of Kaiso Tonya, Mputa I & II and Waraga I & II

  • 1998 - 2001: Supported Heritage Oil & Gas in Semliki Valley in the area of

  • 2004: Supported Heritage Oil & Gas undertaking the Co2 stud in Ntoroko

  • 2002 - 2010: Supported Heritage Oil & Gas during drilling programmes in the areas of Semliki Valley, TURACO I, II, Ill;

  • Kingfisher I, II, & Ill, Bugoma (now under CNOOC)

  • 2007 - 2009: Supported Tullow Oil during drilling and seismic surveys in Mbegu and Waraga 11

  • 2008: Supported Dominion drilling programmes in Rweshama
